AIRCRAFT PRODUCTION OVERSIGHT

Unmatched attention to details

The importance of laying solid foundations applies equally to new aircraft as it does to any other endeavor. Defects and quality imperfections arising during aircraft production and assembly often manifest post-Entry Into Service (EIS), potentially diminishing the aircraft's value. Leveraging our deep understanding of aircraft technicalities, we ensure the quality of your flying assets right from the outset, prior to delivery.

At PRODEL Aviation Consultancy L.L.C, our Production Oversight Team comprises experienced, qualified, and knowledgeable professionals in manufacturing. They possess a thorough grasp of OEM operations, engineering drawings, specifications, health and safety requirements, ethical codes, and various other resources crucial for producing aircraft that not only comply with regulations but also uphold exceptional quality standards tailored to the needs of customer airlines.

AIRCRAFT DELIVERIES SUPPORT

Aircraft delivery encompasses two scenarios: the first involves the delivery of a newly built aircraft to a customer for the first time, while the second occurs during lease transitions, where an aircraft previously in operation is redelivered to a new owner.

The delivery phase typically spans four to five days, varying based on the aircraft program. The standard delivery procedure unfolds as follows:

Day 1: Ground checks entail visual inspections of external surfaces, bays, and cabin, along with static aircraft system and cockpit checks, and engine tests. Day 2: An acceptance flight is conducted to verify the functionality of all aircraft systems, including cabin systems, and assess the aircraft's behavior across the entire flight envelope. Day 3: Addressing any technical or quality issues identified during the delivery process, ensuring resolution or provision of suitable solutions. Day 4: Finalizing technical acceptance to facilitate the issuance of the Certificate of Airworthiness. Day 5: The aircraft undergoes ownership transfer preparations for its ferry flight to its designated home base.

AIRCRAFT LEASE RETURN

This phase of the leasing lifecycle carries significant weight for both lessors and lessees, as mismanagement can lead to substantial financial and reputational repercussions.

For the lessor: The lease return period aligns with the onward remarketing of the aircraft for sale or subsequent operating lease. Timely and efficient lease return is imperative to fulfill onward contractual delivery obligations, failure of which may result in penalties or lease termination. This period marks the realization of the aircraft's residual value, constituting a significant portion of forecasted financial returns from the lease. The lease return process ensures adherence to agreed technical conditions, against which lessors have assessed their residual value assumptions.

For the lessee: The lease return period demands substantial resources. Any delays or errors can disrupt resource allocation and incur financial penalties imposed by the lessor for late redelivery or non-compliance with redelivery conditions. Penalties may include increased rental rates and redelivery condition buy-outs. There's a reputational risk at stake. Inadequate execution of a timely and efficient lease return may dissuade lessors from providing additional aircraft or result in premium pricing due to perceived heightened risk.
